Admission Process

Undergraduate courses –B Pharmacy :

Eligibility:  A percentage of the seats are filled-in through EAMCET on basis of the rank secured by the candidates. TSEAMCET entrance test is conducted by the convener, who is appointed by the State Council for Higher Education.

A percentage of the seats are filled-in by the management under NRI quota. The eligibility criterion for this quota is that, the candidates seeking admission should possess 50% overall or in group or in equivalent subjects.

Duration: The duration of the course shall be for four academic years. Various subject taught in 8 semesters.

 

Post Graduate Course – Pharm D:
The duration of the course shall be six academic years (five years of study and one year of internship or residency). The period of six years duration is divided into two phases –

Phase I – consisting of first, second, third, fourth and fifth academic year.

Phase II – consisting of internship or residency training during sixth year involving posting in specialty units. It is a phase of training wherein a student is exposed to actual pharmacy practice or clinical pharmacy services and acquires skill under supervision of a preceptor.

Post Graduate course –M Pharmacy: (Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology)

A percentage of the seats are filled-in through all India level entrance examination – GPAT on the basis of the rank secured by the candidates.
A percentage of the seats are filled-in by the Management under NRI quota. Under special circumstances, GPAT Rank holders will be considered in lieu of NRI Candidates.

If there are no eligible GPAT rank holders, candidates will be admitted as per the rank secured in PGECET and in the otherwise situation candidates who secured 55% or more in the qualifying exam will be considered for admission.

 

Post Graduate Course –Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate):

Eligibility: A pass in B. Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. Admissions are done along with M. Pharmacy course as described above.
Duration: The duration of the course shall be for three academic years (two years of study and one year internship or residency). The period of three years duration is divided into two phases;
Phase I – consisting of First and Second academic year.
Phase II – consisting of Internship or residency training during third year involving posting in specialty units. 

Eligibility for Admission

  • Candidate shall be an Indian National.
  • Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P) .No.646, Education (w) Dept .,dated 10-07-1979 and its subsequent amendments.
  • In respect of under graduate professional courses in Engineering (including Technology) and Pharmacy the candidates should have completed 16 years of age.
  • In respect of Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy ) course the candidate should have completed 17 Years of age

When To Apply?

The registration process for TS-EAMCET  will begin in March month, Exam is conducted with few days gap & then results will be released. The Counselling Process after the qualifying entrance exam will be done by concern authority. And their by seats will be allotted in selected courses.   • Intermediate or its equivalent marks memo.
