About Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

One of the challenges faced by any educational institution is the development, application, and maintenance of quality benchmarks in all its key performance areas.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was founded in the college to institutionalize the process of quality enhancement and sustenance. The institute’s IQAC was established on 18-08-2018, it was reformed in accordance with UGC norms.

By developing intervention techniques to improve overall quality in the institution, the IQAC serves as a nodal agency for bringing in the era of total quality management.

The goal of IQAC is to guarantee that higher education institutions prioritize a quality culture by institutionalizing and internalizing all activities that are supported by both internal and external sources.

Basic purpose of IQAC

The IQAC strives to guarantee ongoing enhancements in all aspects of the institution’s operations and to provide assurance to all parties involved in higher education, including funding agencies, students, parents, faculty, staff, and the community at large. The NAAC recommends that all institutions create an IQAC to integrate quality improvement into everyday operations. Good academic practices and concepts are produced with the help of IQAC. It aims to focus on organizing, carrying out, and evaluating the institution’s administrative and academic performance.

Goals and Objectives

Developing a mechanism for deliberate, consistent, and catalytic action to enhance the institution’s administrative and academic performance is the main goal of the IQAC. It seeks to realize the institute’s vision and objectives while taking its quality policy into account.

Functions

  • Creation and implementation of quality standards and guidelines for the institution's numerous administrative and academic operations.
  • Assisting in the development of an environment that is learner-centric and supportive of high-quality instruction, as well as faculty development to embrace the necessary skills and technologies for interactive teaching and learning. Gathering and evaluating input on institutional procedures relating to quality from all parties involved. Informational dissemination of the several standards of higher education excellence.
  • Organization of workshops, seminars, and conferences on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles. Documentation of the various programs/activities leading to quality improvement. Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up.
  • Using the quality parameters as a guide, prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), which will be submitted to UGC. Techniques IQAC develops policies and processes to: Ensure that academic, administrative, and financial duties are completed in a timely, effective, and progressive manner. Contemporary teaching, learning, and assessment techniques optimized and integrated.
  • The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), which will be submitted to UGC, should be prepared using the quality parameters as a guide. Methods In order to guarantee that financial, administrative, and academic responsibilities are fulfilled in a prompt, efficient, and progressive manner, IQAC creates policies and procedures. Modern methods for evaluation, instruction, and learning are integrated and optimized.
  • To the institutionalization of best practices and the improvement and integration of the institution's numerous activities.
