One of the challenges faced by any educational institution is the development, application, and maintenance of quality benchmarks in all its key performance areas.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was founded in the college to institutionalize the process of quality enhancement and sustenance. The institute’s IQAC was established on 18-08-2018, it was reformed in accordance with UGC norms.
By developing intervention techniques to improve overall quality in the institution, the IQAC serves as a nodal agency for bringing in the era of total quality management.
The goal of IQAC is to guarantee that higher education institutions prioritize a quality culture by institutionalizing and internalizing all activities that are supported by both internal and external sources.
The IQAC strives to guarantee ongoing enhancements in all aspects of the institution’s operations and to provide assurance to all parties involved in higher education, including funding agencies, students, parents, faculty, staff, and the community at large. The NAAC recommends that all institutions create an IQAC to integrate quality improvement into everyday operations. Good academic practices and concepts are produced with the help of IQAC. It aims to focus on organizing, carrying out, and evaluating the institution’s administrative and academic performance.
Developing a mechanism for deliberate, consistent, and catalytic action to enhance the institution’s administrative and academic performance is the main goal of the IQAC. It seeks to realize the institute’s vision and objectives while taking its quality policy into account.
