“Dr. M Sudhakar graduated from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 1985, M. Pharmacy in 1987 and Ph D in 2004 from JNT University, Hyderabad. He has an experience of 35 Years in the field of teaching and administration. He is resourceful person for various AICTE workshops. His 220 research publications of national and international order, stands as testimony to his strengths. He is bent upon making this college in to one of the most sought after centers for excellence, through its quality education and research orientation. He is the life member of professional bodies like IPA, APTI and IPGA. He is the executive member of APTI. He is the member of board of studies for pharmacy in Osmania University. Under his successful guidance 14 candidates were awarded Ph.D by JNTUniversity, Hyderabad, 2 candidates were awarded Ph.D by Osmania university and 2 candidates were awarded Ph.D by Annamalai university. Totally he guided 18 Ph.D candidates. At present he is guiding 6 candidates for Ph.D Programs. He is the resource person for video lectures in pharmaceutics.

Under his guidance college got NBA accreditation third cycle and college got recognition under UGC-2f and NIRF ranking.”

• At Present working in Malla reddy college of Pharmacy (NBA Accredited) as Professor and Principal from Aug.2005.
• Worked as Associate Professor in Deccan School of Pharmacy, Hyderabad from April, 2004 to July, 2005.
• Worked as Assistant Professor (Selection grade) in Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Bhimavaram from Nov. 1997 to March, 2004 for a period of 6 years and 6 months.
• Worked as Assistant Professor in Siddhardha College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Vijayawada from December, 1995 to October, 1997 for a period of 2 years.
• Worked as Assistant Professor in K. M. College of Pharmacy, Madurai from August, 1988 to November, 1995 for a period of 7 years and four months.

Subjects taught:

• Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at Pharm level for 9 years.
• Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at Pharm level for 35 years.

Participation in Quality improvement programs conducted by AICTE or MCI:

• Participated in AICTE short term training program on advances in Pharmaceutical Technology conducted by Annamalai University from 18^th to 30^th July, 2001.
• Participated in AICTE staff development program for teachers in Pharmaceutics conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal from 17^th to 31^st August, 1999.
• Participated in National Workshop on Fungal Infections sponsored by Medical Council of India held at Madurai, 1^st to 7^th October, 1994.
