Student Welfare

Student Welfare

We ensure the well-being of college students by organizing orientation programs for each new intake. These programs are designed to assist students in acclimating to the college environment and settling into their academic journey.

Orientation:
Orientation sessions provide new students with information regarding their programs/courses, fees, accommodation, and the college’s rules and regulations. Additionally, they receive guidance on personal safety and security matters.

Counseling:
The College offers counseling services encompassing both academic and non-academic concerns to all students. To facilitate this, a mentorship program is in place to enhance academic performance, offer guidance, provide support, and advise students facing challenges. Typically, each teaching faculty oversees 15 to 20 mentees, ensuring that every student is assigned a Mentor/Academic Advisor throughout their study at MRCP.

Student Activities:

Students who have settled into the program benefit from the Mentorship Scheme, as it will provide:

  • Providing encouragement throughout their learning process.
  • Offering guidance to enhance academic performance.
  • Advising on the importance of regular class attendance and active participation in group activities.
  • Offering suggestions on maximizing and focusing academic endeavors.

Extra Curricular Activities:

  • The institution offers a holistic learning atmosphere that goes beyond academic pursuits. A range of student activities is accessible to enrich social, cultural, and athletic pursuits.
  • Active engagement in MRCP Student Council initiatives is strongly encouraged for all students, as it provides invaluable opportunities to expand horizons through the sharing of experiences within the college’s student community.

Personality Development/ Stress Management:
Special programs and lectures are periodically organized to foster the personality development of post-graduate students. Additionally, various competitions such as elocution, debate, and essay writing are arranged to provide students with opportunities for skill enhancement and expression.
